The baby products store covers an area of 1,000 square feet. When the design team of Smart Interior Limited took over the planning, the store was in a clear condition with nothing. Since the store's opening date needs to coincide with the opening of a new shopping mall, an exciting design challenge begins.
The work list is densely packed. Our designer of Smart Interior Limited, said: "In just about a month, we need to complete the entire decoration design project, from design, planning, budgeting, to obtaining the owner's approval, and even the actual implementation. The construction time is very tight.”
"The work includes submitting drawings to the owner's design department for approval, including applying for electricity meters, new air-conditioning, fire protection system installations, and all decoration and layout. In addition, the size of each shelf must match the size of the displayed goods, and be supplemented by lighting. The effect is to highlight the goods and attract attention.”
The client requested a bright and comfortable space with soft tones and a focus on merchandise. Here comes the problem. The store space is irregularly circular, but the customer requires that the curved shape be invisible and every inch of space be utilized. The Smart Interior Limited design team carefully planned eight areas: fixed product display racks, movable display racks, window display areas, storage areas, sofa areas (waiting rest areas for families), and cashiers in the store. , and two fitting rooms.
In order to highlight the goods on the display shelves, the furniture is made of glossy white and embellished with metal lines, which matches the design style of the mall's public space.
In terms of lighting arrangement, ceiling light troughs are specially added to let the light shine in every corner. In addition, track lights are used to illuminate the goods on the shelves, making the goods the protagonist of the store.
嬰兒用品店佔地 1,000平方呎,Smart Interior Limited設計團隊接手規劃時,店內是清水樓狀況,甚麼也沒有。由於店舖開張日期,需要配合全新商場開幕,一場緊張刺激的設計挑戰就此展開。
工作清單排得密麻麻,「 在短短一個月左右,我們需要完成整個裝修設計工程,由設計、規劃、做預算,到獲得業主審批同意,以至實際施工,時間非常緊迫。」
「工作包括入圖給業主的設計部審批,由申請電錶、新造冷氣、消防系統裝置,以及所有裝修佈置。此外,各款貨架的尺寸,必須配合陳列貨品大小,並輔以燈光效果,務求突出貨品,引人注視。」
客戶要求營造明亮舒適的空間,色調柔和,重點突出貨品。難題來了,店舖空間呈不規則圓形,客戶卻要求看不見彎曲形狀,善用每吋空間。Smart Interior Limited設計團隊精心規劃八個區域:店內固定的品陳列架、活動的展示架、櫥窗的陳列區,還有儲物區、梳化專區 (為一家大小而設的等候休息區)、收銀處,以及兩個試身室。
為求突出陳列架上貨品,家具採用光面白色,且以金屬綫條點綴,與商場公共空間的設計格調配合。
在燈光安排方面,特別加設天花燈槽,讓燈光照耀每個角落。此外,運用路軌燈照亮貨架上的貨品,使貨品成為店內主角。
