家裏加添一位新成員，但又不想涉及繁瑣的裝修流程，有什麼解決方法？

今次受客戶陳小姐委託去整理她們一家的家居，這個例子是一間400尺的家居融合五人，包括父母、BB、以及長輩，既要配合初生嬰兒在成長中轉變得很快的用具、玩具、日用品，既配合BB成長需要之餘更要配合照顧者的日常運作動綫，在有限空間之餘，既要有各人的生活空間，包括爸爸的工作枱、個人收藏品；媽媽的衣櫃、個人收藏品，和方便照顧初生嬰兒的空間- 例如BB床、換片位置、存放BB用品的空間、玩具，而BB也有一個可供玩耍而又空間感充足的遊樂地方，所以客飯廳就會變成一家人與BB玩樂的共用空間。

今次是一家5人的整理，又是另一個挑戰啊！

客戶陳小姐的煩惱：
😖 一家人日常工作已經十分忙碌，平日沒時間整理。

😖 本身有些用具是放在媽媽的舊居，現在也要添置到這個新居，很擔心完全不夠空間儲存BB的用品。

😖 原本的客飯廳被物品「淹沒」了，梳化也變成衣物堆，騰出一個坐的空間也很困難，莫說是提供一個遊樂空間給初生BB。

😖 經常「左搵右搵」，找不到便索性去買，BB的衣、食、住、行用品有很多不同類型，如果因為找不到再在需要額外購買就會浪費時間和金錢。而家裏也沒有地方儲存。

😖原本的客廳因為電視機的擺放一分為二，將整個客飯廳斬半了，要重新移動過客飯廳的傢俬及丟掉部份不再合適的家具；

客戶陳小姐的整理目標：
📌 BB有一個儲存衣、食、住、行用品的地方，既收納之餘也能容易找到物品；

📌 父母房間重新整頓，既有儲物、爸爸的書枱空間、媽媽的衣櫃及個人物品收納空間，以及BB床，換片位置、日常用具用品，方便媽媽照顧BB的空間；

📌 客飯廳整潔，是一家人作息以及與BB一同遊戲的地方。

整理過程：
✅ 先把物品篩選和分類，除了按照物品類別、使用性質分類，其間還發現了很多不再使用東西，畢竟現在多了一個新成員，在選擇物品的取捨上和實際用途上也有了新的想法，所以丟掉的東西也不少。

✅到媽媽的舊居了解一下BB有多少衣、食、住、行及玩具用品，再計算一下所需的空間和位置，以便搬進來之後有一個位置預算。我們配合設計平面圖與媽媽一同研究和配合。

✅ 按照生活習慣、活動範圍作區分。

✅ 按照尺寸，在已有的收納用具上再加以運用以免造成浪費，確實需要另外選購收納用品的話才去購買

✅ 舊相片、購物品、舊衣服的取捨（爸爸及媽媽的功課）。

✅ 培養物品使用后歸位的習慣（一家人的功課）。

整理後的改變：

🔎 原本2人房間添加了BB 床作休息、換片位置、以及初生嬰兒的衣、食、住、行日用品，方便了媽媽照顧BB 。

🔎 重新規劃了新舊傢俬，主人房也能騰出空間放置主人床、衣櫃、收納櫃，和父母各有自己的私人空間，像爸爸的電腦枱、媽媽的儲物、二人及BB的衣物收納。

🔎 客飯廳重新整頓傢俬後，再劃份為照顧者的休息空間以及初生嬰兒日用品的儲物位置。

🔎客廳另一個重點是一家人聚會的共同空間，既有電視機櫃、長輩吃飯的餐桌，也具備可供初生嬰兒走動、遊樂玩耍的地方，讓小孩子有一個舒適的遊樂環境，而一家人也可以聚在一起親子樂。

總結：

🏡 以整理收納的方式重新規劃和佈置，只需要重新整頓過傢俬用具的安排，再添置某些現在更適合的傢具，再配合配合收納，其實就可以解決整個問題了。

P.S: 如果搵設計師幫手，效果更全面，因為我們透過設計圖紙和實際尺寸的配合和動綫安排，與用家商討實際運用的流程，當中可能涉及多個方案，但我們在圖紙上已經解決了不少問題和發現多方的可能性，所以整個收納過程就更加順利，更能夠創造出得心應手運用起來很「到地」的空間。

設計圖紙就像一張藍圖，整個家庭就根據這份設計圖紙去創造他們理想中的家居，也是設計師最開心見到的成果。


When a new member come into to a family, but the user don’t want to involve a complicated renovation process.
What solutions are there?

This time, we was commissioned by our client, Ms. Chen, to tidy up their family's home.
This example is a 400 SQFT home that integrates 5 family members , including parents, baby, and the elders. It must not only adapt to the needs of newborn babies, but also need to adapt to her rapid growth. Toys and daily necessities not only meet the baby's growth needs, but also the caregiver's daily operations. In addition to the limited space, there must be a living space for everyone, including dad's workbench and personal collections; mom's wardrobe and her personal collections, and a space that is convenient for taking care of a newborn baby - such as a baby bed, area for diapers changing, a space for storing baby stuffs, toys, and the baby also has a playground area with plenty of space, so the living and dining room will becomes a shared space for the whole family to have fun with Baby.

This time we are organizing a family of 5, which is another challenge!

Client Ms. Chen’s troubles:

😖 The family is already very busy with daily work and has no time to organize on weekdays.

😖 Some of the new born baby stuffs were stored in her mother’s old home, and now we have to add them to this new home. Ms Chen worried that there won’t be enough space to store baby’s items.

😖 The original living and dining room was "overwhelmed" by stuffs, and the sofa became a pile of clothes.
It was also difficult to make a space for sitting, not to request providing a playground space for the newborn baby.

😖 They often "look around" and just buy something if they can't find it. There are many different types of BB's clothing, food, housing and daily use items. If they need to buy an extra because can't find it, it will waste time and money. And there is no place to store it at home.

😖The original living room was divided into two because of the placement of the TV cabinet, which cut the entire living and dining room into half. It was necessary to re-position the furniture in the living & dining room again and throw away some furniture that was no longer suitable according to the current daily usage.


Client Ms. Chen’s organizing goals:
📌 BB has a place to store clothing, food, housing, anddaily use items, so she can easily find items while storing them;

📌 The parents’ room has been reorganized to include storage, dad’s desk space, mom’s wardrobe and personal belongings storage space, as well as baby’s bed, diapers changing area , and daily utensils , in order to make a convenient space for mom to take care of the baby;

📌 The living and dining room is clean and tidy. It is a place where the family can relax and enjoy the plays with the baby.

Organizing process:
✅ First, screen and classify the items. In addition to classifying them according to item category and usage nature, we also found a lot of items that are no longer used. After all, now that there is a new member, they also have new ideas on sorting the practical usage of items. So a lot of things were thrown away.

✅Go to mom's old house to find out how much clothing, eat relate, daily usage and toys that the Baby has, and then calculate the required space and position so that they can have a space estimation after moving in. We studied and collaborated with Ms Chen on the space design floor plan.

✅ Divide according to living habits and scope of activities.

✅ According to the size, use the existing organizing tools and avoid waste.
Only buy it if you really need to purchase a storage equipment.

✅ Selection of old photos, shopping items, and old clothes (homework for dad and mom).

✅ Cultivate the habit of returning items to their proper places after use (a family task).


Changes after finishing:

🔎 The master room for 2 people added a Baby bed for resting, a diapers changing area, and daily necessities for the babies' clothing, eat equipment, and daily usage items, which making it easier for the mother.

🔎 Re-planning the old and new furniture, the master room can also free up space for the master's bed, wardrobe, storage cabinets, and parents each have their own private space, such as dad's computer desk, mom's storage, and the two's and baby’s clothes storage.

🔎 After re-arranging the furniture in the living and dining room, it was divided into a resting space for the caregiver and a storage space for daily necessities for the baby.

🔎Another focus of the living room is the common space for family gatherings. It has a TV cabinet, a dining table for the elders, and a place for the newborn baby to walk and play, so that the children can have a comfortable play environment, and the family can also join together with the baby in the living room.

Summarize:

🏡 Re-plan and arrange by organizing and storing. You only need to re-arrange the furniture, add some new furniture that is more suitable now. In fact, the whole problem can be solved.

P.S: If you hire a designer to help, the effect will be more comprehensive, because we discuss the actual usage process with the user through the coordination of design drawings with actual dimensions and movement lines, through the process, it may involve multiple solutions, but we have already included them in the drawings. So, problems have been visualize and solved. And many possibilities have been discovered, so the entire storage process has been smoother, and a more "down to earth" space can be created that is easy to use.

The design drawing is like a blueprint. The whole family uses this design drawing to create their ideal home. This is also the result that the designer is happiest to see.
